Yes, you can create short links for external links as well. These can redirect to any URL outside your Shopify store, such as external websites, social media pages, or other online resources. Please note that in such cases, only link clicks can be tracked. Other analytics features such as orders and revenue cannot be tracked.
Analytics & Tracking
The app tracks clicks, conversions, CVR (Conversion Rate), traffic sources, and revenue generated from each short link.
CVR stands for Conversion Rate. It is calculated as: CVR = (Conversions ÷ Total Clicks) × 100. This shows the percentage of users who took the desired action.
You can see clicks to a short link, and orders placed from it. We calculate conversion rate automatically in the CVR column.
Cookie validity is the number of days the app tracks conversions (orders, revenue) for a user who has clicked on a short link. Cookie validity is configurable by you, and is default set to 7 days.
Currently, the app only supports Shopify's native checkout system. For third-party providers, conversion tracking may not work.
Yes, you can export your analytics data by clicking on [Download CSV] button near data tables.

Support & Troubleshooting
Ensure the destination URL is correct and does not include typos or unsupported parameters.
Ensure the discount code is active in your Shopify admin and correctly linked to the short link. Visit the checkout page to verify whether the discount code is present. Ensure multiple conflicting discount codes are not getting applied.
Tracking data may be missing or inaccurate if users have disabled cookies or blocked tracking pixels in their browser settings. In such cases, Shopify's own pixel functionality will not be able to load in the user's browser.
Please contact us via email so that we can understand your issue and resolve it at the earliest.

All data is securely stored in AWS servers and Heroku and complies with Shopify's data protection policies.
